CPI : Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program

With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program’s proven strategies give school personnel the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.  This training also incorporates Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports philosphy and practices for school settings, in order to reduce the need for crisis response. Some of the training involves vigorous physical activity, therefore participants must be physically fit. Districts are required to enroll site-based teams only, with a minimum of at least 3 people per school site. Certified personnel are required to recertify annually. In order to certify, participants must attend all 2 days.
  • Cost: $65 per participant for all two (2) days of training. PO must be submitted with registrations form. Fee is nontransferable and nonrefundable.
  • Materials will be provided during the training.
