EPiCC Community of Practice (CoP) Guest Speaker: Carolina Peña

Join us for an insightful presentation by Carolina Peña, English Language Supervising Administrator for the Kern High School District. Ms. Peña was instrumental in creating an inclusive and effective Integrated ELD Site Master Plan that is unique to each school site and meets the diverse needs of their ELs. Discover the benefits of establishing an EL Task Force and how it has played a crucial role in supporting both students and teachers.
Understand how each school site has successfully integrated the California English Learner Roadmap into their school policies and practices, creating a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students. This Community of Practice will help participants gain insights and strategies that can be applied to your own school’s ELD programs. Time will be given for educators to participate in a Q & A session with Carolina Peña to address your specific questions and challenges.
