Core Instruction for Students with Disabilities

This one-day workshop will focus on maintaining rigor and supporting students with disabilities in the core curriculum. The session will focus on how to select appropriate teaching strategies, and setting expectations for students to learn at high levels. Workshop topics will include:
  • Teaching literacy and mathematics skills using a standards based approach
  • Challenging students to reach their full potential academically
  • Increasing student engagement and participation in core instruction
