Innovative Attendance Solutions for Student and School Success: Data and Tier I

Attendance is fundamental to student and school success, but absenteeism is more complex than ever. With the significant disparities in educational opportunity it’s essential to ensure students are in class to access learning opportunities and social supports. EveryDay Labs, Inc. will deliver sustainable strategies tailored to support goals and use attendance as a systemic lever to drive improvement across various metrics associated with student success. This session will focus on Data and Tier I intervention. Topics Include:
  • Building a Foundation for Understanding the Impact of Chronic Absenteeism and Making the Case for Tier I Intervention
  • Developing effective attendance teams
  • Utilizing a multi-tiered attendance framework
  • Using data to implement research-based strategies for each tier
  • Strategies for taking action based on attendance data and creating campaigns that focus on "dip days"
