The new version of Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 6.5-hour blended training course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid covers risk factors and warning signs of mental health concerns as well as a 5-step action plan to help an adolescent in need of mental health support. The first portion of the training will consist of a self-pace module (about two hours must be completed prior to training day) followed by a 4.5 hour virtual training. |
